Donald E. Jameyson, 80, of Wellington, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late Earl B. and Lulu (nee Hall) Jameyson, Donald was born on March 20, 1934 in Wellington Township. Donald served his country proudly in the Navy from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War. In 1952 he received his honorary diploma. Until his retirement in 1996, Donald worked at Ridge Tool as a job setter for drill presses. Donald was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching theCleveland Indian's and recently the Boston Red Sox. He is survived by his children, Russell Jameyson, Randall (Elaine) Jameyson, Donalyn (Frank) Wilfong and Richard (Jenni) Jameyson; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and his brother Howard Jameyson. Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn, in 2007; brothers, Russell and Lyle Jameyson and sisters, Maxine Simonson and Ruth Harris. Friends and family will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 28, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
