Donald Robert Joseph Trotter, of Norwalk, Ohio died unexpectedly on January 12, 2021, a day before his 72nd birthday.  He was born on January 13, 1949 in Norwalk to the late Francis and Evelyn (Hipp) Trotter.  Don graduated from Norwalk St. Paul Catholic High School in 1967.

He enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Cleveland Browns and spending time with his grandchildren.  Don had worked for many years at Norwalk Furniture and the former KBI plant in Sandusky.  He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Daiga (Kangars) Trotter; their daughter, Anna (James Smith) Trotter of Norwalk; grandchildren, Sydney and Jonathan Smith and brother, Thomas (Sherri) Trotter of Collins.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Tamura and grandson, Jacob Smith.

A private graveside service and burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk with Fr.
