Donald McGatha, of Willard, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. He was 75. He was born on November 3, 1940 in Centre, Alabama, to the late Robert and Jane McGatha. Donald enjoyed traveling with the love of his life, Mary. Together they spent 56 years together. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and singing Gospel music. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Loretta Kilgore of New Washington and Terry (Bill) Adams of Mansfield; grandchildren, Tim (Reshana) McGatha of Chesnee, SC, Amy Schultie of Mansfield, Amanda Owens of Sandusky, Justin (Stephanie) Barnett of New Washington, Heather Barnett of New Washington, Desiree Kilgore of Willard and Kyle Kilgore of New Washington; step grandchildren, Pam and Billy Smith of Mansfield; 13 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; sister, Faye Doran of New Hope, Alabama and a brother, David McGatha of Winter Haven, Florida. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cathy McGatha; 1 sister and 2 brothers. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Eastman Funeral Home in Greenwich where a service will be held Sunday at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
