Norwalk, Ohio – Donald R. Minor, 73, born on July 25, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2019, surrounded by his family.  Donald was born to the late Donald S. and Francis (Manlet) Minor.  Donald worked for the City of Norwalk for 32 years before retiring in 2012.  He enjoyed playing ball, watching Cleveland sports, umpiring games for men's and women's softball, he also enjoyed bowling and dancing.  Donald is survived by his sister Virginia Cousino; by his children, Danny (Kristi), Randy (Sue) and David (Sherri) Minor, Lisa (Charlie) Roberts, Jennie (Tim) Dreschel, Brad, Brian (Tina) and Chad (Shelly) Billman and Melanie (Bob) Gaines;  by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and by numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; by his wife Sandra J. Minor; by his sisters Phyllis and Margie, and by his brother Phillip.  Friends may call on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio 44857. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Chaplain Michael Sweeney of Southern Hospice will officiate.
