Donald K. Phillips, 65, of Wellington, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at home. Born on September 27, 1952, he was the son of Lora Mae (nee Raines) Phillips and the late Cleo William Phillips. Donald was a lifelong resident of the Wellington area but enjoyed spending time in Kentucky. Donald worked as a machinest for Rockwell and Whirlaway. He enjoyed working on his '79 cutlass as a hobby. Donald also enjoyed spending time outdoors working in gardens as well as using his chainsaw to cut down trees. He loved animals especially his dog, Blue. Donald was a loving father and grandfather and cherished spending time with his grandkids. Survivors include his children Logan Phillips and Brandi Krause, both of Amherst; 9 grandchildren; his mother Lora Mea Phillips; Siblings David, Allan, Diane, Tami, Annette, Linda, his twin brother ,Ron and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Cleo William Phillips and a sister Mona. Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 22, from 5-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, where services will be held on Saturday beginning at 11am. Burial will take place at Phillips Cemetery in Monticello KY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's honor may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
