Obituary

Donald Edward Stoll, 84, of Nova, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 4, 1928, in Lakewood, to the late George Deidtrich and Ethel (Schibley) Stoll. Donald lived in the New London area for most of his life. He attended New London High School and farmed until he retired in 1998. In his early years he worked for Burk's Chevrolet in New London and Lacey Brothers in Nova. Donald served twenty years on the New London Park Board, sixteen years for the Rural Lorain Water Authority and eight years as a Rochester Trustee. He was also a member of the New London Grange, Farm Bureau and New London Methodist Church. He loved farming, restoring antique tractors and collected model tractors and trains. He is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Marian (Roberts) Stoll; daughters, Vickie Stoll of Nova and Joni Stoll of Ravenna and a brother, Richard Stoll of Ashland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son. There will be no visitation and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
