Obituary

Donna Jean (Kirchner) Dubick, 72, of New London, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 8th at her home. She was born September 2, 1935 in Parma, OH; daughter of the late August and Katheryn (DuChai) Kirchner. Donna was a 1954 graduate of Holy Name High School in Parma, Ohio. She had been employed by Ohio Bell for many years before moving to California after she was married. Once back in Ohio, first Brunswick then settling in New London on a small farm where they loved flowers, animals, gardening and raising their children. She and her husband became one of the original members of Jesus the Good Shephe rd Parish Catholic Church in Nova. Mrs. Dubick loved her husband, children, family and friends, but her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 2005. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in law, Tom Dubick and the late Lynn Dubick of Weddington North Carolina and Rob and Kim Dubick of Canton, Georgia; two daughters and two son-in-laws, Lisa and Bryan Bittinger of Medina OH, and Denise and Joe Nichols of Seven Hills OH; nine grandchildren, Diana, Tommy and Denise of North Carolina, Samanthya, Jayson and Colleyn of Ohio and Joey, Kelly and Teddy of Ohio; three brothers and sister-in-laws, William and Katheen Kirchner, Patrick and Joan Kirchner of Ohio and Joseph and Karlotta Kirchner of Oregon; three sisters and brother-in-laws, Nancy and Don Champlin of Florida, Sally and the late Bill Clinton and Marian and the late Mike Mayerchak and her close confidant and best friend, Janet Francis. She was preceded in death by her sister and two brothers, Mary Lou Clingan, Edward Corcoran and John Cocoran. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 13th at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, Community of Jesus the Good Shepherd, Nova Catholic Church, 240 St. Rt 511, Nova, Ohio with Father Ron Bryda officiating. Burial will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, Ohio. Memorials, if desired, may be given to the Salvation Army in care of Eastman Funeral home, 200 W. Main St., New London, OH 44851.
