Donna Marie Gentile

Donna Marie Gentile, 74, of West Salem, died Saturday, January 24, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Born on January 10, 1952 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Mae (nee Bishop) German. Donna grew up in Cleveland before moving to West Salem in the mid 90’s

Donna was a bus driver for Cloverleaf Schools for 15 years. She enjoyed camping with her husband, playing BINGO and spending time on the lake. Most of all Donna cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 57 years, Frank Gentile, Sr.; children, Kimberly and Frank (Julie) Jr.; grandchildren, William (Kelly) Joey, Kiera, Dominic, Landyn, Frankie, Mason, David, and Caygen; siblings, Mary Ellen Jordan and Betty Lou (Marshall) Ross; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Staci Sims. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry; adopted son, Charles Nichols; and brother-in-law, Jim Jordan.
