Donna D. Reed (Kirby), fondly known to many as "Kirbs," passed away July 1, 2017 after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born Decemeber 11, 1962 in Bluefield, WV. Donna graduated from Wellington High School in 1981 where she was Varsity Cheerleader, Class Officer and involved in numerous other activities. Following high school, she and her mother, Dorothy, ran the Fashion Focus clothing store in Wellington for many years. She was best known for her "can do" attitude to accomplish anything she put her mind to. She had a big smile, quick wit, and funny little giggle for everyone, which endeared her to anyone who crossed her path. She loved most to spend time with her loving husband of 24 years, Marty, her little dog, Mia and all of her family. Donna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Florence Wantling, paternal grandparents, J.E. and Mary Kirby. Survivors include her Husband, Martin Reed and loving pet Mia; Mother, Dorothy Wantling; Father, Stephen Kirby; Sister, Michelle (Scott) Markel, Nieces; Cassandra (Adam) Spears and daughters Hillary (Scott) Lawrence and son, Stepfather, Dan Lent; Mother-in-law, Kennethea Reed; Brothers-in-law, Joe (Sally) Reed, Jim Reed; Sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Reed; Nieces Chantrice (Derrick) Brasee, Leanne Reed; Nephews, Derrick (Brittany) Reed and children, Willie (Amy) Reed and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
