Donnabelle A. Noss, passed away early Monday, September 14, 2015 at Norwalk Memorial Home. She was 97. Born December 3, 1917 in Van Wert County, she moved to New London at the age of 4 and lived in Ruggles most of her life. Donnabelle graduated from Ruggles High School in 1935. Donnabelle was a lifelong member of the Ruggles Church, was active in her church, helped with the bloodmobile and county elections. Donnabelle's joy was taking care of her family where a special place existed in her heart for each them. She is survived by her children, Sue Black of Ashland, John (Mary) Noss of New London, Sally (Norman) Kiplinger of Millersville, MO and Jeff Noss of Spencer; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren;2 step great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Raymond T. "Bill" Noss; parents, Ancel and Hattie (nee Fleming) Briggs and siblings, Anna, Mary, Lotus Briggs, Gordon Briggs, Isabelle, Eva Grace and Wesley Briggs. Donnabelle's family will receive friends Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the New London Eastman Funeral Home, where a service will be held Friday 11 am with Pastor Martin Daly officiating. Burial will follow in Ruggles Cemetery.
