Doris E. Lehman, age 89, of Hilliard, Ohio and formerly of New London passed away peacefully on March 14, 2015 at Darby Glenn, Hilliard, Ohio. She was born June 28, 1925 in Hartland Twp., Ohio. Doris graduated from New London High School in 1943 and Oberlin Business College. She was a member of Greater Ohio Showman's Association, Business and Professional Women, and Eastern Stars. She worked at Shelby Air Depot, New York Central Railroad, Nor-gas and Richards Insurance Company. She owned Lehman's Bakery in New London. She founded and operated Dor-Lo Pizza with locations in Ashland, Ohio and concession trailers that travelled throughout Ohio. She was honored as Showperson of the Year from the Greater Ohio Showman's Association in 2003. She loved her family and was loved in return, she will be deeply missed. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen (William) Bennett, Kim E. (Daniel) Otanicar and Dr. Karen (Stan Connell) Lehman; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chad) Smith, Monica (Chrissie) Lehman and Luke Lehman and great granddaughter, Nia Smith. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Zella (Rounds) Sengstock; sisters, Pauline Bedford and Joan Wiggins and son, Keith Lehman. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow at Hartland Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Huntington's Disease Society of America, c/o Central Ohio Chapter, 505 Eighth Ave., Suite 902, New York, New York 10018.
