Doris H. (Haddox) Massey, 79 of Monroeville, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 in Twilight Gardens Nursing Center, Norwalk, Ohio. She was born on December 26, 1940 in Said, West Virginia (Calhoun County and moved to Ohio as an infant. Doris was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and lived in New London, Norwalk and settled in Monroeville, Ohio. She graduated from East High School in Cleveland and held several jobs in the area, working as an assistant manager for JC Penney's at the Midway Mall, K-Mart in Norwalk, McDonalds, Norstat and Blimpie.

Doris enjoyed playing cards, doing arts and crafts, playing Bingo, traveling to Michigan to visit with her siblings, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey L. Bowser of Monroeville, Ohio, Debra L. Barley of Sanford, Florida and Thomas R. Massey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by her grandchildren, Aeron, Adam, Alex, Kyle, Joey and Stephan.  Doris is also survived by her siblings, Sonny (Judy) Saunders and David Saunders, both of Battle Creek, Michigan and by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Thomas Ray Massey, by her mother Maxine Saunders in 2020, and by her daughter, Ranelle L. Bowser.

There will be no visitation or service at Doris's request. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio 44857 is entrusted with arrangements.
