Norton-Eastman Funeral Home 440-647-3132 Doris Ann Traut (nee Morrissey), 86, of Wellington, formerly of Elyria, passed away peacefully on December, 17, 2016 at Elms Retirement Village in Wellington after receiving wonderful care there for nearly a year. Doris was born on September 20, 1930 to the late William and Mary (nee Lee) Morrissey in Cleveland, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband Robert James. They had shared nearly 67 years in loving marriage. She is also survived by her son, Jonathan Robert (JoAnn) Traut; nephew (who was like a son) Dr. Donald (Rosa) McNamara; grandchildren, Jennifer (Seth) Busse, Ben Brushaber, Jason (Jenna) Traut and Jess (Tom) Murray; great grandchildren, Matthew Minear and Luke Murray. In addition to her parents Doris was preceded in death by her sister Mary McNamara. Visitation will be Monday, December 19th from 4-6 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 am on Tuesday at Jesus Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 240 SR 511, Nova, Ohio 44859 with burial to follow in Huntington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 9608 Norwalk Road, Litchfield, Ohio 44253.
