Dorothy Hicks, 88 of Dayton, Ohio, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away September 15, 2023, at the Laurels of New London.

She was a long-time resident of Dayton, Ohio.  She is survived by her children, Marlene (Nate) Butts and James Millard Hicks; sister, Esther Head; grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Christofferson, Sam (Erica) Butts, Carlin Butts and Savannah Hicks; granddaughter in law, Angel Hicks and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Hicks, sisters, Myrtle Partin, Kathleen Frasier, Marie Pinkston and Maggie Loder, daughter, Kotey Hawkey and grandsons Jimmy and Adam Hicks.

Dorothy's wishes were to be cremated with no services.  Eastman Funeral Home, New London assisted the Hicks family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
