Dorothy Krisha, age 89, of Seale, Alabama, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  Born on May 8, 1932 in Fitchville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Wolfe) Krisha.  Dorothy attended New London Schools and at a young age entered the US Army.  While serving her country, she traveled the world and earned the rank of Master Sergeant.    She retired from the US Army.  After retiring, she attended hotel management school and managed a hotel in Seale, AL, where she settled and made her home.

Dorothy loved her cats and dogs as well as traveling to Ohio as often as possible to see her 14 siblings.  She is survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Yaro, John, Joseph, Charles, Mae, Emil (Buck), Harry, Robert, Lucille, Ruth, Leonard, Margaret, Edward and Thomas.

A graveside service with military honors will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Fitchville Cemetery, US Hwy 250 S, New London, Ohio.  Eastman Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
