Dorothy N. Harp, 80, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully, early on Saturday morning, March 5, 2022, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home. She was born on December 1, 1941, in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Clifford B. and Dorothy W. (Clark) Nichols-Kadow and was a New London High School graduate.
Dorothy was very loving and caring person who enjoyed reading her bible. She had worked for the former Balanhoff's in New London and volunteered at Christie Lane Industries.
Survivors include her son, Wilbert E. Harp; 2 grandchildren, and brothers, Corwin E. (Shirley) Nichols of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Thomas E. (Joan) Nichols of New London, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John in 2017.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London from 2 p.m. until the time of the 3 p.m. service with burial to follow in Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery. The funeral service will be recorded and uploaded to the funeral home website after the services have taken place for anyone unable to attend to view. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Twilight Gardens, Fisher-Titus Medical Center and Catholic Charities for their love and care over the years.
