Douglas Ray Bolt, 64, of Wellington, died Friday September 15, 2023. Born on August 14, 1959 in Oberlin, he was the son of the late Ottis J. and Vivian J. (Clement) Bolt. Doug was a 1978 graduate of Wellington High School and lived in Wellington most of his life.

Doug most recently worked for Perkins Motor Services in Elyria. He enjoyed driving his Olds Cutlass when he could. Doug was an avid sports fan and loved rooting for the Browns and Indians. Doug cherished time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

Survivors include his son, Nicholas (Renee) Bolt, of Oberlin; granddaughters, Courtney and Natalie Bolt; siblings, Lora (Keith) Floyd, Katherine Dingey, Terry (Robert) Lafferty, Gregory (Betsy) Bolt, Donna (Chuck) Hammersla, Deborah (Scott) Schuster, and Curtis Bolt; as well as countless nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his siblings Anna Thompson and Charles Bolt.
