Douglas W. Dennis, Sr.

Douglas W. Dennis Sr. (72) of Norwalk died Thursday, January 27, 2022, at MetroHealth Main Campus Medical Center, Cleveland. He was born July 11, 1948, in Durand, Mi to the late Elma June (Chubb) and John H. Dennis.

Douglas pumped gas at the Shell Gas Station on US 250 in Norwalk and lately delivered pizzas for Pizza Hut. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions but spending time with his son and grandchildren is what he cherished most.

Douglas is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tina (Cunningham) Dennis; son, Douglas Dennis Jr. of Norwalk; daughter, Kim Lowey of St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren; and brother, Carl (Marcia) Dennis of Durand, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Dennis.

No services will be held. The staff of the Walker Eastman Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk assisted the family with arrangements.
