Duane D. Harvey, age 78, of New London, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born August 17, 1947 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Webster and Virginia (Lawson) Harvey, he graduated from New London High School and would later work for McDonald's in New London and Norwalk. Duane was a proud veteran of the United States Military.

A member of the New London Church of Christ, Duane was a devout family man who cherished the time he spent with those that he loved most. He enjoyed singing in his spare time, and watching the demolition derby.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Brenda (Case), whom he wed on November 24, 1973; two children, Tonya L. Harvey and David A. Harvey; two grandchildren, Jacob P. Gross and Julia L. Gross; a great-grandson, Oliver Neil; and seven siblings, Annlea Hall, Evelyn Case, Reuvonne Carol, James Harvey, Sharon Goodman, Webster Harvey Jr., and Myrtle Boyd.

In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Harvey; sisters, Sue Harvey, and Christine Hamilton; and an aunt, Opal West.

There will be no services for Duane at this time. In place of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Ste 310, Miami, FL 33126. The Eastman Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
