Dustin Cain Ruhl, 36, of Elyria, died on Sunday, September 20, 2020. He was born on May 23, 1984 in Elyria to Kimberly Ruhl and Michael Mannion. He lived most of his life in Elyria and Amherst and was an Elyria High School graduate. He was very athletic and played football while in school

Dustin was a 10 year member of AA and always strived to help others with a word of encouragement. He had planned to become a chemical dependency counselor and had just begun classes. Dustin enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to be around people, especially his children. He also enjoyed attending church and participating in bible studies.

Dustin is survived by his wife, Margaret Shrader, of Wellington;children, Austin Ruhl of Rochester, Louis Ruhl, Parker Ruhl and Serenity Grace Ruhl, all of Wellington; siblings, Jessica (Jacklyn) Johnson, Christina (John) French and Jennifer (Chris) Tyree; grandparents and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 26 , 2020, beginning at 4 p.m. with a service beginning at 5:30 at the family farm, 52550 State Route 18, Wellington with Troy Smith officiating.
