Earina L. Blanton, 91, of Shiloh, Ohio, died on Sunday morning, April 3, 2022, at Kingston of Ashland.  She was born on January 20, 1931, in Caryville, TN to the late Benjamin and Judy Phillips.

An avid gardener, Earina also enjoyed canning and took pride in feeding her family.  She was a longtime member of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.

Earina had worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. and McDonald's where she enjoyed baking in the mornings.  She most recently had helped out with some local greenhouses.

She is survived by her son, Craig Blanton; sister, Pearl Wilshire; brother, Jay Phillips; grandchildren, Jason (Megan) Blanton, Nadine (Dakotah) Strickland and Brandy Slone; and great grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, Dakota, Dixon, Jayden, Jaxson, Canaan, Addison and Savannah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Blanton; son, Benny Blanton; and siblings, Abe, Mathew and Robert.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich, where a funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, beginning at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be directed to Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, 3983 N Main Street, Mansfield, OH 44903.  Online condolences may be expressed by visiting: www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
