Obituary

Earl W. Paramore, age 86, of Shiloh died on April 18, 2025 on the family farm surrounded by his loving family. Born September 24, 1938, he was a graduate of Savannah High School. Earl worked in welding and maintenance at General Motors for 43 years and was a life-long farmer.

Land and animal husbandry were central to Earl's life. He showed his love for farming by being a member of the Farm Bureau. A dedicated family man, he cherished time spent with his wife of 67 years, Nancy (Gallaway). He enjoyed raising his children and later grandchildren on the farm and teaching the value of hard work and dedication. All that knew and loved him will remember his warm presence and comforting bear hugs.

Left to cherish Earl's memory are his wife, Nancy; children, Wayne B. (Doris) Paramore, Michael D. Paramore, Laura S. (Jerry) Prelipp, Janet E. (David) Ellis, and David R. (Jenny) Paramore; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marlene Crisp, and Kay Owens.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his brothers, Dwight and Glen.
