Obituary

Earl K. Riley, 81, of Wellington, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Allen Medical Center in Oberlin. Born on April 13, 1930 in Ozark, Alabama to Hubbart and Effie (nee Wright) Riley, Earl moved to New London in 1950. He had resided in Wellington since 1956. Earl worked as a core maker at the Sterling Foundry in Wellington and at C.E. Ward Company in New London. He liked to work on his truck and car and also enjoyed being out in his yard. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois; brother-in-laws, Jerry Hines and Larry (Cheryl) Hines, all of Wellington; sister-in-law, Jean Leiter, of Wooster, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his 3 sisters, Ruth Nell Hines, Alice Brainard and Susie Logan and mother-in-law, Pauline McKisson. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington with Rev. Lea Mahan officiating. Donations in memory of Earl may be sent to the Wellington Senior Bus, 115 Willard Memorial Square, Wellington, Ohio 44090.
