Easter Faye Munger

Easter F. Munger, 78, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home. She was born on March 28, 1948, in Logan County, West Virginia, to the late Willis and Dean (Blankenship) Buchanon.

Easter loved playing horseshoes, baseball, computer, and tablet games, and watching television with her late husband, Melford Munger. She was a hard worker who had worked for McDonald’s, the former Luster Chrome Plating Plant in Huron, and Harrison Manufacturing in Birmingham, Ohio.

She is survived by her son, Willis Munger; grandchildren, Allison, Kristin, and Nathan; siblings, Wyatt (Joann) Buchanon, and Cora Buchanon; nephews, Kenneth (Val) Musser, and Dwight (Cindy) Buchanon; and nieces, Gloria “Penny” (Darryl) Workman, Donna Mayer, and Lisa (Ray) Romaine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melford F. “Skip” Munger, and siblings, Sarah, Gladys, Donaldray, Rayneil, Daniel, and Iva.
