'Eda M. Rivar, age 93, of Greenwich, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Willard Healthcare. She was born May 14, 1915 in Hickory Twp., Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Hobert H. and Myrtle B. (Sullinger) Hillard.'Eda lived in Oil City, PA until 1977 when she moved to Greenwich to be with her daughter and son in law.'''' Eda had worked as a waitress at the Venango Country Club in Reno, PA and the Holiday Inn in Oil City, PA.''' She loved knitting, crocheting, reading and puzzle books. 'She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Walter) Dittman of Greenwich; her grandchildren, Linda (Darrell) Coffman and Kirk (Patricia) Dittman; her great grandchildren, Kristal Straka, Kimberly Estep, Derek and Taylor Dittman; her great great grandchildren, Johnnie, Timmy, Torrie, Dalton; her sister in law, Jerry Daelhousen of Warren, PA. .'' She was preceded in death by her son, Robert G. Rivar, 4 sisters and 5 brothers. 'Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home,' 49 West Main St., Greenwich .' Pastor Bob Hudberg will officiate.''
