Edna B. (nee Dumke) Hill, 91, of Wellington, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at New Life Hospice in Lorain. Born on November 27, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Erich and Louise Dumke, Edna lived in the Pittsfield area all of her life and was a LPN for over thirty years. She graduated from St. Joe's School of Licensed Practical Nursing and worked at Elms Retirement Village, retiring at age 80. Edna enjoyed shopping, traveling, crossword puzzles, visiting her family and gardening. Edna also loved being a grandmother and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Richard (Deborah) Hill of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Linda (John) Driscoll of Norwalk, Marilyn (Frank) Vukovich of LaGrange and Pamela (Bernie) Squire of Wellington; grandchildren Jeremy, Nikolas, Melanie, Jason, Dawn, Elizabeth, Melissa, Sara and 17 great grandchildren. Other survivors include her siblings, Elizabeth Gemmel of Norwalk, Elsie Hammond of Lorain and Eric Dumke of Las Vegas, Nevada and many nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Damon Paul Hill, whom she married July 15, 1950; siblings, Betty Jane Dumke in infancy, Thelma Neilson, Elaine Hovanitz, Dorris Manning, Arthur Dumke and Eleanor Repp. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13 from 4-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, Ohio where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Pittsfield East Cemetery.
