Edward J. Spevak, 81, of Penfield died January 27, 2011 at Elyria Memorial Hospital. He was born December 3, 1929 in Bedford to the late John and Anna (nee Cerveny) Spevak. He was a graduate of Bedford High School and later went on to serve in the United States Navy. Edward worked as an engineering estimator for several companies. He enjoying traveling with his wife to Engelwood Florida for 6 months out of the year for over 20 years and was a member of the Elks club while in Florida. Edward was also a skilled builder who enjoyed building 2 of his own homes. Edward is survived by his wife of 56 years Grace (nee Valek) Spevak, two sons Jeffrey (Margaret) Spevak of Rochester NY, and Bruce (Eileen) Spevak of Berea and one beautiful grandchild Bryden. Edward is also survived by his siblings Joe and Carl Spevak and Grace J. Spevak. He was preceded in death by his brothers John and Bill Spevak. A remembrance service and burial will take place at a later time.
