Edward R. Stoner, 75, of Norwalk, Ohio, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2024, at MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland.  He was born on May 22, 1948, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Patricia A. (Swan) Bismore and Ernest R. Stoner and was a 1966 Western Reserve graduate.

Ed served his country as a part of the United States Air Force.  He was very knowledgeable and talented with computers, appliance repair and technology in general.  He used those skills working for Sears for over 25 years.  He also owned Blue Seas Tropicals, an aquatics and fish keeping store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Ed was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Peru, where he was baptized in 2019.  He was a family man who cherished time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He enjoyed golf, bowling, and rooting for the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary (Sprowl) Stoner, of Norwalk; sons, Scott and Christopher (Kayli) Stoner, of Norwalk; grandchildren, Tristan, Jamie, Norah, and Robert "RJ" Stoner; sisters, Debbie Pierce, Beverly Berk, Londa (David) Barman, and Michelle Shimp; brother, Brian (Sunneva) Stoner; sister in-law, Denise Stoner; brothers in-law, Kevin (Nancy) Sprowl and Doug (Winsome) Sprowl;g and several other extended family members.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Bismore; father, Ernest Stoner; sister, Judy Jones; and brother, Cory Stoner.

Friends and family are invited to his visitation, on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
