Elaine Ellen Liedorff, 79, of Wellington, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Mercy Lorain Hospital. Born on March 1, 1944, to the late Gus and Esther (nee Fortune) Querin, Elaine was a 1962 graduate of Black River High School.

Elaine worked at Allen Memorial Hospital as an LPN for many years. In her free time, she volunteered as a cub den leader. Elaine was an excellent gardener and loved to watch the hummingbirds in her flowers. She and her husband, David, enjoyed traveling and taking trips together. Elaine was especially proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Liedorff; children, Jill (Francis) Bean, of Oberlin, Michael (Pamela) Liedorff, of Andrews, TX, and Daniel (Dawn) Liedorff, of Wakeman; grandchildren, Alaina (David) Zielinski, Nick (Kajal) Liedorff, Justin (Candace) Bean, and Rachael Bean; Step-grandchildren, Keagan and Josh Garner; and great-grandchildren, Mali Cromer, Kylie Zielinski, and Brantley Bean.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 15, from 4-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, Wellington. Following the visitation the family will host a reception from 7-9 p.m. at the Wellington Eagles, 631 South Main St, Wellington.
