Elaine Ann Roesch, 81, a lifelong Cleveland resident, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at her home. She was born on August 29, 1927 in Cleveland to the late Albert and Ann Nimrichter.
Elaine was an extremely crafty person; she enjoyed knitting, crocheting afghans and creating floral arrangements. She also loved to cook and was known as the best cook ever.
Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, David; her loving daughter, Leanne Roesch of Cleveland and a brother, John Nimrichter of Valley City. Elaine also leaves behind her two dogs, Sugar and Maggie. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert, George and Charles and her sister-in-law and best friend, Alice Nimrichter.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 29 from 5-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday with Rev. Brian Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. Donations in memory of Elaine can be directed to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
