Elaine M. Wolf, 88, of New London, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. She was born February 5, 1924, in Elyria, to the late Elmer O. and Margaret (McLaughlin) Sprague. She married James L. Wolf in 1944 and lived in Elyria, Spencer, New London, Chesapeake and has resided in New London since 1994. Elaine was a 1942 graduate of Elyria High School and a graduate of Oberlin Business College. She worked as a secretary for several businesses. Elaine enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New London American Legion Auxiliary Post 292 and Elyria Ladies Auxiliary Post 1079 VFW. Survived by her son, James A. Wolf of New London; daughter, Carol A. Wolf of Chesapeake, Ohio and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Wolf. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 18 Park Avenue, New London with Father James Reymann officiating.
