Elizabeth 'Betty' Reed, 85, of Wellington, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Keystone Pointe, after a short illness. She was born August 18, 1927, in Shay, Ohio, and graduated from Spencer High School in 1945. Elizabeth had many hobbies and jobs in her lifetime. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, swimming and traveling with her husband. She started out working at Lodi Hospital, then later at Western Auto and Ben Franklin in Wellington. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Reginald Reed; children, Thomas (Harriett) Reed Sr. of Wellington and Kathryn Evanko of Dearborn, MI; grandchildren, Tina (James) Delambo, Thomas (Rebecca) Reed Jr., Sarah (Alex) Collozo, Joseph (Erin) Evanko, Bradley (Liza) Reed; step grandson, Kenneth (Kerstin) Bulcroft; great grandchildren, Christopher, Cole, Trevor, Tony, Mandy, Aaron, Austin, Dominic, Sophia, and Gabriel. She is also survived by her siblings, Gene (Bobbi) Miller of Ashland, Barbara Reed of Elyria, and John Miller of Amherst. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Martha (nee Rupple) Miller; siblings, Mary Frances Traganza and Charles Richard Miller; her son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law, Judith Reed. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington, where services will be held on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Penfield Cemetery.
