Elizabeth "Betsy" Shepherd, of Greenwich, passed away on October 28, 2024. Born on April 14, 1958, in Salyersville, KY to the late Rev. Kiser and Edith (Hall) Crase, Betsy grew up in Kentucky.

She earned her associate degree from North Central College in accounting and worked for Shafer Valve in Mansfield. A talented seamstress, Betsy also worked at Kent Sporting Goods in New London.

Betsy attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She dabbled in the arts – especially painting, quilting and sewing. An avid reader, Betsy devoured all types of books and particularly enjoyed learning about history. She shared a love of nature with her husband and liked watching movies. A true animal lover, Betsy absolutely adored the many dogs she had throughout her life.

Survivors include her sisters, Cora Stoddard, of Norwalk, and Mary Oney, of Radcliffe, KY and many nieces and nephews. Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney "Keith" Shepherd and brothers, Custer and Kiser Crase.
