Norwalk, Ohio - Elizabeth R. Stang, 90, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, in Gaymont Nursing Center, Norwalk, Ohio. She was born December 6, 1927 in Milan, Ohio, to the late John P. and Helen M. (Ziemer) Mills, and was a lifelong area resident. Elizabeth was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, and the Women of St. Alphonsus. She was a homemaker and farm wife, and was a former Pink Lady at Fisher Titus Medical Center. Elizabeth enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and gardening. She is survived by her children, K. Paul (Sheila) Stang of Monroeville, Ohio, Elaine R. (John) Finch of Monroeville, Ohio, Tim (Denise) Stang of Norwalk, Ohio, Joe (Sue) Stang of Norwalk, Ohio, Curt (Tammy) Stang of Norwalk, Ohio, and Barb Stang of Monroeville, Ohio, by 22 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Stang in 1989, by her son, Robert M. Stang in 2001, and by her brothers, George and Clifford Mills. Friends may call on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Road, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Ron Schock will officiate.
