Ellen L. Thompson Schlenbaker Shull, age 93, of Greenwich, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.   Ellen was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.   She always said that the greatest accomplishments of her life was being a mother and grandmother.  She was born February 1, 1927 in Shelby, Ohio, daughter of the late Lorhe and Florence (Johnson) Thompson.   She was a 1944 graduate of Shelby High School.    Ellen loved to read, garden and loved canning.   She loved everyone she met.   She never met a stranger.  Ellen always lived life to the fullest.   She was a fighter to the end.

Ellen is survived by her children, Diane (Larry) Sanders, Dann (Donna) Schlenbaker, Bob (Vera) Schlenbaker, Butch (Debbie) Shull;  her grandchildren, Shellie (Mike) Allen, Mike (April) Sanders, Brett (Kendra) Schlenbaker, Tyler (Lauren) Schlenbaker, Keri Goad, Kim Gott, Arnie Forrest, Toby Forrest, Lysa Korkis, Matthew Shull, Nathon Shull;  great grandchildren, Ashlee & Josh, Madee & Curtis, Kelsee, Kalyssa, Kaleb, Karson & Trevor, Austin & Hailey, Djennika, Djouvensky, Jordan, Levi, Jared, Kallie, Charly, Derek, Sydney, Zeik, Crystal, Hunter, Izzy and Hudson;  great great grandchildren, Ember, Zaydee, Harlee, Wyatt, Treyson, Gianna, Brecklen;   special friends who were like grandchildren, Steff Conaway, Lisa Hover and Calvin Conaway.   She was preceded in death by her husband,  Lawrence Shull and her granddaughter, Tanya Shull.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Ripley Church, 4130 Edwards Rd., Greenwich, Ohio  44837.  Pastor Eric Robinson will officiate.   Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery.   Due to Covid-19 we are asking people to wear face masks and practice social distancing.   Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich were entrusted with assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.eastmanfuneralhome.com
