EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Eloise Carrie Bowman, age 92, of New London, died Friday, January 4. 2013 at The Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands, New London. She was born September 18, 1920, daughter of the late Essic and Goldie Marie (Heston) Belmer, Sr. Eloise was a lifelong resident of New London and had attended New London schools. She did child care for many years. Eloise attended the 2nd Baptist Church, New London. She loved to sing, write songs and bake. She is survived by her children, Brenda Randleman of New London, Maurice (Sherri) Bowman of Mansfield, Toni (John) Smith of Norwalk , Vicki Nared of Mansfield; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Beatrice Brown of Ashland, Essic Belmer, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Clifford (Mary) Belmer, Sr. of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Bowman, Sr., brother, Richard Belmer, sister, Anna Lewis, sons-in-law, Al Randleman and Ernest "Slim" Nared. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London with Pastor Jamie Richardson officiating.
