Elsie (Mann) Bridges, age 69 of Sandusky, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 28, 1938 in Dante, VA, daughter of the late, Oliver David & Rhoda (Manuel) Mann, Sr. Elsie was raised in Kentucky and moved to Willard, Ohio in 1950. She had resided in Sandusky with her daughter and son-in-law the past 5 years. She was a member of the Church of God in Jesus' Name, Plymouth. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah & Michael Dix of Sandusky; brother-in-law, Edwin Zacharias of Florida; several special grandchildren in Florida; 2 sisters, Shelby (Thurman) Tuttle and Joan (Randy) Devine all of Florida; 2 brothers, Oliver (Cleda) Mann of Florida and A.C. (Virginia) Mann of WV; and nieces and nephews, several she helped raise; special friends, Milford & Phyliss Clark of Nova. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Orville Bridges in 2006; a brother, Laton Mann; and sisters, Maxine Zacharias and Nora Mae McCoy. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 at Church of God in Jesus' Name, 4728 Mills Rd., Plymouth, where an evening service will be held. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Church with A.C. Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
