Emma J. Slone, 88, of Plymouth, Ohio died Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Texas where she had been residing with her niece. She was born March 9, 1933 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late John and Maude (Patrick) Hatton. Emma in her earlier years taught school and later assisted her husband Charlie at Homestead Realty. Emma spent her life devoted to her family.

Mrs. Slone is survived by her 3 grandsons, Charlie Slone, Brandon Slone, and Patrick Steele; 3 great-grandchildren, Victoria Steele, Veronica Steele, and Nathan Steele and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Slone; 2 sons, Joe Slone and John Slone; and siblings, Alvin Hatton, Dola Hatton, and Mary Magdalene Layne.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Christian Alliance Church, 1609 S. Conwell Ave, Willard, Ohio. Burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio.
