Eric Scott Johnson, 47, of Wellington, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at the New Life Hospice Saint Joseph Center in Lorain. Eric was born on January 3, 1964 in Elyria to Gary L. and Susan (nee Fox) Johnson. He grew up in the Penfield area and was a 1983 graduate of Keystone High School. Eric was employed at Invacare for 23 years and attended the Lincoln Street Chapel in Wellington. Eric was an avid motorcyclist. He also enjoyed gold prospecting and spending time fishing, hunting and bowling. Eric liked to attend many estate auctions and flea markets as well. Eric is survived by his mother, Susan Johnson of Port Clinton; sons, Sean Brady of PA and Christopher Lee Johnson; daughter, Ashley Christine Johnson, both of Elyria; 2 grandchildren; his sister, Candy Johnson Zelinski of Rocky River and a grandmother, Dorothy Fox. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Gary in 2009. Friends and family will be received on Thursday April 28, 2011 from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Wellington.
