Estella "Jill" M. Dumke, 88, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Elms Retirement Village in Wellington. A daughter of the late Mark and Estella (nee Jones) Grissinger, Jill was born on May 1, 1924. A lifelong Wellington resident, she graduated from Wellington High School in 1942. Jill worked at Henny's drive-in but her main concern was taking care of her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellington and loved collecting dolls. Survivors include her children, Arthur (Lorraine) Dumke, Jr., of Vermillion and Michelle Star, of Cleveland; 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Jill was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years, Arthur "Art" Dumke; daughter, Vickie Garn; grandson, Jeff Garn, brothers, Paul Stuart, Sydney Grissinger, Mark Grissinger and sisters, Helen Eglin, Creda Copeland and Janet Warner. Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 2nd from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington with Rev. Thomas Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
