Eugene "Gene" Brazie died on Monday, December 11, 2023.  Born on December 5, 1943, he turned 80 years old just a week before. Gene lived in New London, Ohio until 1986, when he moved to Findlay, Ohio.  He lived in Findlay until moving to Mansfield in 1998.  He leaves behind two brothers, one sister, six children, Cherie (Brazie) Velez, Lisa Brazie, Molly (Brazie) Jenkins, Rebecca Brazie, Sarah Brazie, and Jeremy Brazie, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and Kay Vandlik, his loving partner of more than 30 years.

Gene served in the Army during Vietnam.  He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed working with his hands.  He loved model railroading and built a museum quality railroad in his basement.  He was musically gifted and could play multiple instruments despite never having learned to read music.  He played in multiple bands over the years and loved bluegrass and country music.
