Eva Mae Birchfield, 80, died on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain. On September 23, 1930, Eva was born in Virginia to the late Selby and Grace Blevins. Eva grew up in West Virginia and moved to Wellington in 1958. Her greatest blessings were her family, especially her grandchildren, and Eva loved the time she spent with them. Eva is survived by her children, Charles Earl (Carol) Birchfield, Jr., Barbara (Frank) Kwiatkowski, Brenda (Bob) Rundle, Delmer (Linda) Birchfield and Tommy (Melinda) Birchfield; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and siblings, Bobby, Harley and Butch Blevins, Marie Harles, Juanita Cook and Pauline Mullins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Charles. Friends and family will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Services to honor Eva's memory will be held at the Funeral Home on January 27 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Danny Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
