Eva Mae Gariss, 95, of Wellington, died at her home on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born in Brighton, Ohio to the late Elva (nee Haning) and William Ziegler. She had worked for Brighton Schools as a cook for 12 years before retirement and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellington. Survivors include her children, Patricia Watters of Middleburg Heights, Ronald (Christine) Gariss of Idaho, David (Rita) Gariss of Colorado, and Leah (Jase) Williams of Florida; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; siblings, Glenn and Dale Ziegler and Thelma Carlson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Gariss; brothers, Lee, Lyle, Carl and Merle Ziegler. A private family service will be held on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
