NORTON-EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 440-647-3132 Eva May Halliwill, age 94, of Wellington, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. Mrs. Halliwill was born October 18, 1912 in Pittsfield, Ohio, daughter of the late, Joseph & Lula (Cameron) Wait. She had lived all of her life in the Pittsfield and Wellington areas. She was a 1930 graduate of Wellington High School. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Brumfield's Grocery Store Wellington. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wellington and the Sullivan OES. Eva is survived by 2 daughters, JoAnn Davies of Bowling Green, KY and Linda (Gary) Barnes of Wellington; 2 sons, John (Mary Jane) Halliwill of Beaumont, CA and Eugene (Charlotte) Halliwill of Inman, SC; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 2001; a brother, Charles Wait; and 3 sisters, Ruth Avery, Betty Myers and Jeanne Tenney. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Wellington, 127 Park Avenue, Wellington. Rev. Brian Burke will officiate and memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church or the Well- Help, 127 Park Pl, Wellington, OH 44090.
