Eva G. 'Sal' Settlemire, age 96, of Wellington died Monday, November 26, 2007 at her daughter's home in Bloomfield, KY, after a short illness. Mrs. Settlemire was born September 22, 1911 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of the late, Harry M. & Emma (Stout) Kornprobst. She moved to Wellington in 1936, where she had lived up until the past month. She worked at the former Lattimer's Nursing Home in Wellington for many years and had attended the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Wellington. Mrs. Settlemire is survived by a daughter, Eva (Okey) Watts of Bloomfield, KY; a son, Ralph D. (Lee) Settlemire of Bradenton, FL; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Imogene Stafirski of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Settlemire in 1977; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington. Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, Wellington are in charge of arrangements.
