Evelyn Louise Ives, 85, of Wellington, died Monday evening, November 16, 2015, at University Hospitals EMH in Elyria. She was born on April 1, 1930 in Red Haw to the late Otis and Mabel (nee Vaughn) Biddinger. Evelyn was a graduate of Sullivan High School. Evelyn worked at Forest City in Wellington as quality control for 30 years. She took any task presented to her, including those at work, serious, and will be remembered as a hard worker. Evelyn is survived by her sons Bruce Ives of Elyria, and David Ives of Sullivan; grandchildren Tina Garton, Angela Ives, Christopher Ives, Brian Ives, David Hartman, and Isaiah Ives; great-grandchildren Joseph Garton, David Garton, and Morgan Tait. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Edward Ives; and siblings Otis Biddinger Jr., Flora Cole, and Irene Drake. Friends a family will be received on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington, where services will be held on Monday beginning at 11 am, with Pastor Paul Wilson officiating, burial will follow at greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
