Evelyn E. Liss, 86, of New London, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her home. She was born December 18, 1925, Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Latimer and Anna (Gergel) Selyem. Evelyn was a 1943 graduate of New London High School. She is survived by her son, Robert A. (Stephanie) Liss of New London, 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Summers of Islen, NJ and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph M. Liss and second husband, Jacob E. Kindle. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London with Pastor Tina Siroki officiating. Burial will follow at a later time at Rochester Center Cemetery.
