Evelyn V. Yoho, 72, of Wellington, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at New Life Hospice in Lorain. She was born in Wellington on May 30, 1943, to the late John and Edna (nee Scyoc) Yoho. A graduate of Keystone High School, Evelyn spent most of her life in Penfield. Evelyn's parents moved to Wellington from West Virginia shortly before she was born. She enjoyed country music and considered herself a southerner at heart. Evelyn was an excellent seamstress and was proud of having made her own clothes. She was especially proud of one outfit in particular that was judged in a state fair competition. Evelyn worked for Forest City and at one time attended the Pittsfield Community Church. Evelyn is survived by her sister, Freda Trumbo of Flat Rock, NC; brother, Delbert Yoho of Columbus; nephews, Gary and Michael Yoho and Steven, Todd and Craig Trumbo as well as numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leon. Services will be announced at a later date.
