Flora 'Flo' Beissinger, 82, of Wellington died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Elms Nursing Home. She was born November 1, 1926 in West Virginia. Flora worked for Amherst Metal Products and Forest City Technologies in Wellington. She retired after 20 years from Allen Community Hospital Dietary. She enjoyed cooking and the company of her family and friends. Survivors include her three children, Paulette (Harold) Thornsberry of Collins, Paul Parks of Oberlin, and Wanda Fountain of Odessa, FL; 3 grandchildren, Mike and Rhonda Heiser, Brenda Blystone and Rachele Parks; 5 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Flora is also survived by her sister, Anna Green of Norwalk and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Bussey; her father, Charles Bussey; her stepmother, Lela Bussey and two brothers, Harold and Aubrey Bussey. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
