Florence "Jean" Rock, 92, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully from this life to the next on November 11, 2022, at home.  She was born on January 5, 1930, in Dixon, Illinois, to the late Daniel and Florence (Yocum) Cruse.

Jean was an active member of the Norwalk First United Methodist Church and lifelong member of the Norwalk V.F.W. Auxiliary.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crafting and had a full-time craft shop, the "Backyard Shop" in Norwalk.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Mike) Hickey, Alan (Judy) Glenn and Gavin (Peggy) Glenn; stepchildren, Terry, Dan and Gary Rock, Karen Briggs, Mary Thompson and Connie Olshewski; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brother, Roger Cruse and "bonus brother", Don (Julie) Knox.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Rock; son, Steven Glenn; brothers, Elwood, Mick, Dan Jr., Donald and Peter; and stepson, David Rock.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio, from 10 a.m. until the time of the 11 a.m. service with Rev. Dr. Brian Oglesbee officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.  Jean was always giving of herself in terms of time and philanthropic interests, to honor her, memorial contributions may be directed to Doctors Without Borders USA, P.O.
